There's No Crying in Wordzzle!

Photobucket

Hey kids it’s Wordzzle time again. You should know by now that this party is hosted by Raven. So go holla at her if you want to play along.

Same deal as always. I’m taking all the words and putting them into my Vader Story.

The big Wordzzle words are: exponentially, Nightshade, braces, impossibility, the beginning of time, barracuda, playful banter, delve, automatic, bewildered

And the Mini Wordzzle words are: fragment, hemoglobin, insipid, flourish, juxtapose

“How the Mighty Have Fallen” Part ... uh .. several.

After a few night caps at the Nightshade Lounge Vader, Pandora and Tiffany all returned to his and Pandora’s hotel room. Vader had grown tired of Tiff’s insipid comments and put-downs and was completely bewildered that the girls seem to actually like each other.

He sat there, drinking his martini while the girls engaged in playful banter and ignored him. He hated being ignored. He also hated having to listen to two other people tell each other their life stories. Seriously, was it necessary to hear about Pandora’s hemoglobin and Tiffany’s braces when she was 13? Or about how they both dated guys in high school who drove Barracudas or that they both hated driving cars with automatic transmissions?

Worst of all was the crowd in that bar. The place was a real dive and Vader felt it was well beneath his standards. Every fragment of society that he despised was in this place. He was certain that an all-out riot could happen at any moment.

He was so happy to finally convince the girls to go back to the hotel. For the most part he was still being ignored, but at least he could be ignored while sitting in a nice chair with the TV turned to something that he wanted to watch. By this time Pandora was quite intoxicated. She was slurring her words and giggling at the same time. The Dark Lord always considered this type of behavior rather pathetic. He would, since the more he drank he just became more sullen and bitter.

Finally Vader decided to take a shower and leave the girls to their giggle-fest. After getting out of the show and going through his metrosexual routine he could still hear Pandora rambling. Now she was talking about science fiction and how she delved into the supernatural quite often over the years. “Probably with a little help from some pretty good drugs,” Vader thought to himself.

The he heard Pandora finish her story with a great flourish.

Juxtapose that back at ...”

“Juxtapose?” Tiff giggled?

“Yeah .. juxtaspose ... suppose” Pandora slurred. “Suppose back at the beginning of time there were great forces of both good and evil. And juxtapose they did battle over looooooooooooong periods of time. And their powers were exponentially greater than anyone’s powers today. Aaaaaaand good won the great twilight struggle, but some members of the dark forces, maybe the most powerful and meanest of them all, was never kilt or arrested. The idea that that dude is still walking the Earth isn’t an impossibility. Ya know?”

“And maybe he’s running for President right now.” Tiffany said through her tears of laughter as she watched Pandora giver her speech.

“Naw,” Pandora siad “he’s probably some poor schlep who spends all his time lying around thinking about the old days and telling himself he’s still a bad ass even though he’s a bitter, lonely, pathetic drunk who mostly just wallows in self-pity.”

“Awww .. poor guy,” giggled Tiff.

“I know. It’s really sad.”

Vader waited a couple of minutes until it was quiet and then exited the bathroom. As he walked out the door he was shocked to find Tiffany and Pandora lying on the bed kissing. He wasn’t sure what to do now. He was definitely still being ignored, but the night had taken a dramatic turn for the better. But, just then Tiffany sat up and grabbed her purse. She got out her room key and tossed it to Vader.

“You don’t mind staying in my room tonight, do you?” Tiff said.
