Matthew Berry is a columnist for ESPN.com. I enjoy reading his fantasy football advice columns and find him to be pretty funny and clever. Sometimes I follow his advice and sometimes I don’t.

But, THIS POST ISN’T ABOUT FANTASY FOOTBALL! It’s about a different kind of fantasy. See, for years Berry has had a HUGE crush on Anne Hathaway.

Anyway, a couple of weeks ago another columnist got tired of hearing Berry go on and on about Anne Hathaway knowing that she was never going to give him the time of day. I mean, if she didn’t run into Berry’s arms after her Italian boyfriend went to prison, she probably isn’t going to. So, this columnist wrote a column where she nominated several women to be Berry’s new celebrity crush. I thought that was pretty funny, so I stole the idea and decided to do something similar where, but with a twist.


As you may or may not know, Kate Beckinsale has been my Celebrity Fantasy Girlfriend™ for a long time.

Well, I’m sorry to say that I'm finally tired of her Kate and I have decided to go our separate ways. Well, actually I decided to since Kate never talks to me. But, that’s not important. What is important is that I am now in need of a new Celebrity Fantasy Girlfriend.™

So, that’s where you guys come in. I thought it would be fun for you to nominate who you think should be my next Celebrity Fantasy Girlfriend.™ Hell, you can nominate more than one if you want. Just tell me WHY they should be my new pretend girlfriend.

I’ll leave nominations open through next Wednesday. You can nominate someone in comments, through email or on your own blogs. Don’t be lazy and just go with the easy or obvious one or the Skank of the Week either. Be serious about this! Think about what you know about me, and what you believe are my likes and dislikes and shit like that and make your nomination based on that.

Anyway, after you turn in your nominations, I will review them here on the blog. Then I will narrow the list down to the final five and will go through the pros and cons of each of the finalists. Then I’ll choose my next Celebrity Fantasy Girlfriend.™
