Free speech is alive again in Ireland after Declan Ganley's legal team agreed with the Village magazine that Declan ganley should have a right to reply. earlier today ganley's team attached Michael Smith editor and Kevin Barrington writer (former AFP bureau chief for Cambodia) to their writ against the publishers of The Village.
What could have proved a difficult and drawn out case was settled in minutes after 2.30 Irish Time today.
The case will be reviewed in two weeks but for now this matter is closed pending ganley's interview and the next issue of Village magazine..
