Beer and Wings ...

Before we get into last week's show, which I'm super late in posting, I just wanted to let everyone know that there is now an OFFICIAL I'm With Stupid humor blog! AAAAAAAND, the best part of it is that it's a community blog! That's right. We're looking for contributors. If you want to post weekly, every other week, monthly or just every once in a while just let me know at jayman3768@gmail.com and we'll get that all set up!

Anyway kids, get on over to the I'm With Stupid Blog and see what we've got going on. And tell all your friends too! Even your enemies!

Saturday on “I’m With Stupid” we just had a few beers and winged it. There was no real show topic. Instead we discussed our recent difficulties with our respective cable companies, Father’s Day and then took calls from Mike and Desert Rat and we all just rambled away and entertained the masses. So, if you get the chance give it a listen! Or just click play and give us the extra ratings hit because you love us and want us to feel good about ourselves.

Oh, and don't forget that we will be talking music this week on I'm With Stupid's radio show. Concerts, rock 'n roll, hot singers, overrated singers and so much more!

And, as a reward for listening to the show and reading our new blog and putting our new blog in your reader and all that wonderful stuff that you amazing and sexy friends of ours do, here's a hot pic of Cameron Diaz whose HILARIOUS new movie "Bad Teacher" comes out this weekend...

A Musical Extravaganza ....

On Saturday “I'm With StupidMatt-Man and I had our very first in studio guest ever! That's right kids. We had international pop music sensation Jon Bok Chovie was here! We talked about his meteoric rise to fame, some of the great musical acts that he has opened for and his newest CD where he covers some of the greatest songs of all time! It was an amazing interview and his voice is soooo smooth.

So, check it out kids!

Marriage: Bad Idea? Or Worst Idea Ever?

Last Saturday on I'm With Stupid (what? So it took me a few days to get this posted) Matt-Man and I pretty much settled the whole “should people get married, stay single or just shack up?” question. The results are 1. shack up, 2. stay single and 3. get married if you must.

Seriously people, marriage just sucks and we all know it. Well, for everyone except you and you and .. you're lying so not you. You get the picture. After listening to Matt-Man run down all the ominous signs that he should have picked up on before the wedding and during the honeymoon, but didn't, marriage sounds very scary.

We also had an ad from our new Marriage and Divorce Planning Services business venture as well as a live report from Kim Fragile. All that and so damn much more fun and jocularity. Oh and BTR had a technical glitch and didn't cut us off at 45 minutes like usual. Boy are they sorry that happened. And so are we. We 66 minutes, which was 65 20 minutes too long.

Anyway, give it a listen if you need some quality entertainment at a fair price.

Vote MItt Romney: He's Your Multiple Choice ...

Today may well have been the best episode of the highly rated and award winning “I'm With Stupid.” We talked about Rick Santorum, Sarah Palin and Matt-Man and I gave everyone a nice little history lesson about D-Day, Sarah Palin style, of course.

AND we had an exclusive interview w/ failed 2012 presidential candidate Mitt Romney!

Oh and at some point someone might have yelled out “WHO'S YOUR UNCLE SAM!” while talking about an imagined sexual encounter with Michelle Bachmann.

It was a great time had by all, so give it a listen if you get the chance. Our fragile egos need the show to continue to get high ratings because it's all we've got, you know.

And as a reward for listening here's Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake groping each other while all of America looked on in a jealous rage..

Monday on “I’m With StupidMatt-Man and I discussed some of the issues of the day including Sarah Palin’s fake presidential run and how we would both love to be the meat in middle of a Sarah Palin - Michele Bachmann Crazy Sandwich. And speaking of “meat” we had to bring up the Rep. Anthony Weiner incident.  Did he send a pic of his “little congressman” to a female follower on Twitter? This of course set off about 10 minutes of dick jokes. And it was classic!

After that we discussed the tragedy that is Jim Tressel’s resignation from THE Ohio State University and all kind of other jocularity and hijinks.  So, give it a listen, if you can. Remember, our entire self-worth is tied to our show’s ratings. Which have been REALLY good the last few weeks. And we appreciate our listeners very much!!

A Memorial Day Cookout

On Saturday Matt-Man and I had a great Memorial Day cookout on “I'm With Stupid” and we served up jocularity and fun times for members of the whole family. We gave a heartfelt shout out to the men and women serving this great country and especially those who sacrificed all.

Then, we played a very moving address from Michele Bachmann. And I tell you what folks, not only is she a great speaker, she has an amazing grasp on American history.

After that, we gave some great grilling tips and talked Memorial Day traditions and all kinds of other fun summer activities. So, give it a listen and we'll cheer up your day. Kinda. A little.

And to thank you for listening here's some Memorial Day sexiness for all:

Pawlenty of Reasons to Believe ....

Another EPIC episode of “I’m With Stupid“  Matt-Man and I covered everything from the horrible destruction of the Joplin, MO tornadoes to the destruction of the republican party by Mitch Daniels decision not to run. We also talked about the Billboard Music Awards and Britney and Rihanna’s awkward performance and how proud we are of Justin Bieber. Not for winning, but for snagging Selena Gomez. All that so much more! 45 minutes of non-stop (more or less) fun and jocularity! Check it out. Please? You know we have self-esteem issues!

Rapture and Social Media Likes and Dislikes ...

Last Saturday on “I’m With Stupid” we provided instant analysis of the rapture and then talked social media likes and dislikes. Also, we got a call on the hotline from our Dutch correspondent Guy Ahnyurdyck and of course we played the first promo for our new online business venture IWSAPDSMSUS. All in all it was a pretty fun 45 minutes full of frivolity and awesomeness. Well, mostly anyway.

And for making you put up with my promoting my podcast, here’s Selena Gomez from the Billboard Music Awards last night. Sans Justin Bieber, of course.

Is the GOP DOA? And Jennifer Aniston is getting NAKED!

We did a new episode of “I’m With Stupid” Monday morning. Because of the size of our massive and diverse world-wide audience, we’ve expanded to TWO shows a week. Today we asked “Is the GOP DOA?” and I think the answer is “probably.” We made fun of a few potential candidates, then talked about Jennifer Love Hewitt possibly replacing Mariska Hargitay and Jennifer Aniston going topless in her next movie.  It was another 45 minutes of pure magic. Kinda.

Thanks to Dianne and Mr. Vinny Bond for calling in.

The Sexism Problem Has Been Solved...

Even though I'm no longer blogging in the traditional sense, I'm still going to post the show here every Monday just in case there was anyone out there who listens to the show but never comments or anything like that. And to take advantage of search engines.

On “I’m With StupidMatt-Man and I finally settled this Sexism thing once and for all. Not only did we establish the we aren’t sexists, but we probably eliminated it as an issued in America completely.  Also, it was a pretty raucous show as the phone lines lit up! Thanks to Dana_Lu, Bubblewench, WeirdoKing, and Clay Perry for calling in!
Oh, and as an olive branch to the person who called us sexist because we only used pics of hot chicks to promote our show, I give everyone this pic of poor Shemar Moore being exploited strictly for his looks…

Anyway, here's the show...

Death is Funny if Done the Right Way...

Once again BTR played the role of the man trying to keep us down this week. Just like last Saturday, it wouldn't let both Matt-Man and me in the chat room, my switchboard was frozen and Matt's was flashing like a strobe light. But, a new feature this week was a clicking and popping noise that I could hear while doing the show. And, unfortunately, the listener can hear it too from time to time. But, it isn't constant. It comes and goes.

Anyway, in spite of all this, last night's Death: The Lighter Side was a really hilariously good time, if I do say so myself. Our good friend Augusto called in and hung out with us. And Curious Chris also called and it told us about a Swedish funeral that he attended in Seattle once. Unfortunately, ABBA didn't perform. But, it was still a nice story.

Matt-Man and I talked a bit about how we would like to go out. We both have some pretty good ideas. We discussed how Pope John Paul II had one of the best funerals ever and how I love big fancy shindigs like that. I can't wait until Queen Elizabeth II dies. Oh what a great funeral THAT'S gonna be!

We also had a new sponsor for this week. Fast Freddie's Funerals. He has a great new concept on how to hold funerals much more efficiently to save money and time.

And then things went a bit off the rails in the final 15 minutes when we talked about Asian women and then discussing how rude it was of Matt's brother to die right in the middle of the best gags Matt had run on his blog in some time. That being his secession from the union and establishment of his own sovereign country in his apartment.

It was pretty much non-stop hilarity. And if you'd like to listen to it you can do so using this rather unimpressive, but functional player provided by the fine folks over at BTR. Or using the player that will show up at the bottom of this post in Reader.
Listen to internet radio with Im With Stupid on Blog Talk Radio

And, we also have a major announcement to make:

The critically acclaimed, and highly rated internet radio show “I'm With Stupid” hosted by the legendary internet radio duo of Matt-Man and Jayman will be moving to a new time slot. Effective Saturday April 16, 2011, “I'm With Stupid” will be broadcasting live at 12 noon EDT at the same location on the internet. RIGHT HERE.

Matt-Man and Jayman both feel that the new time slot will be more convenient for the shows fans and will especially be so for them. They believe that by being awake and at least mostly sober, they will provide an even better radio experience for their vast and diverse world wide audience. And they won't have to stay up late on Thursdays anymore.

So, don't forget. “I'm With Stupid” will be moving to 12 noon EDT, 11 am CDT, 10 am MDT and 9 am PDT on Saturdays beginning on April 16th, 2011. We hope to see y'all there.

My Favorite Podcasts....

I'm really getting into podcasts and have been listening to a lot of 'em. I like it because I can just put the headphones on and listen while I'm doing other things. So, I decided to make a list of some of my favorite podcasts. Some of them are recorded live and then posted in archives, and others are recorded, edited and then uploaded. Most are funny, some are very serious and others are just interesting to me for whatever reason.

I don't necessarily listen to every single episode of these and I don't necessarily listen to the entire episode when I start listening. Nobody is going to be talking about something I'm interested in every time, but these podcasts are at least interesting to me most of the time...

Vinny Bond's Music on the Couch – Monday night's on Blog Talk Radio at 10 pm Eastern. Vinny interviews independent, unsigned musical artists and does a great job with it! He's an excellent interviewer. All shows are available in archives too, of course.

Marc Maron's WTF Podcast – Mostly interviews with stand up comics and comedy writers.

Sklar Brothers' Sklarboro Country

Pat Lynch's Lynched! - Arkansas stuff

Tony Kornheiser – Podcast version of his radio show without the commercials.

Doctor Anonymous' Family Medicine Rocks – Medical issues and interviews.

Jason Whitlock's Real Talk – Mostly sports, but commentary on culture and society too.

Bill Simmons' BS Report

Kevin Smith's Hollywood Babble-On

On the DL (show ending this summer)

Dan Carlin's Hardcore History

The Green Room – British stand up comics.

You'll notice that some of them I just linked to the iTunes page. I did that because some of their websites aren't all that great and they actually make it hard to find the “listen” button. Seriously, if your whole thing is being a podcast, you might try to make it as easy as possible for people to figure out how to listen. That's almost as bad as people who make it hard to comment on their blogs.

Dang, that's a lot of podcasts! Well, like I said I don't listen to all of them every week or even all of every episode. And, it's just like listening to the radio. Turn on a podcast and then going about my business means I can listen while doing other things.

But of course, there's one podcast that stands out above all others! And that's the “I'm With Stupid” show hosted by Matt-Man and me!

Uh, okay, so maybe it isn't the greatest podcast of all time. But, it IS fun and rather entertaining, if I do say so myself. Anyway, we did a special Bonus Stupid episode on Saturday and talked some baseball. And, even though BTR did everything they could think of short of knocking us off the air to ruin the day, the show worked out pretty nicely.

BTR wouldn't let a lot of people sign in. They wouldn't let some people in the chat room. They wouldn't let both Matt and me in the chat room at the same time. Our Baseball's Opening Day live remote from our new Sports Director Slyder Balzcock wouldn't play properly. And they decided that I didn't need the use of the switchboard. But, Matt and I being the scrappy and persistent types that we are, we persevered and put out another quality show. At least better than Charlie Sheen's show over the weekend.

So, if you like you can listen using this fancy play that BTR designed that may or may not work. Or, if you only read this blog in Reader, there will be a player at the bottom of the post for you too.

Filling and Satisfying ...

Last night on “I'm With StupidMatt-Man and I sliced and diced all the important sides, like lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and other useful items and served up a tasty and satisfying little radio show. Well, we did so with some help.

Our new friend Cracker called in and showed off her awesome Southern accent. Cracker and I happen to live about 30 mins from each other AND we both happen to be from right here in Redneckville. Grew up right here in the same town and never met until we happened upon each other on Twitter.

Ahhhh … The power of the internets!

So, since Cracker and I are from the same town, I was there to interpret what she said for Matt and our vast, diverse and worldwide audience. Matt is still convinced that Cracker loves “Rusty” sandwiches. I swear to him she was saying “Roast Beef” but, he's not so sure.

Anyway, another new Twitter friend, Mark also called in and hung out with us. Even though we had just met right there on the show, he immediately knew not to believe me when I told him that Matt and I are old college buddies from out days at M.I.T. Weird how quickly he figured that out, huh?

And, of course, one of my favorite people in on planet Earth, the uber-uber sweet and tasty Desert Rat stopped playing with her pet snake long enough to call in and try to help get he show back on the rails. I promise to try that roasted beet sandwich soon babe. No really. I'll get RIGHT on that. ;-)

So, check it out guys. It was one crazy-ass show this week! You can listen on this handy player right here, or on the one that will show up at the bottom of the post if you only read this blog in reader.
Listen to internet radio with Im With Stupid on Blog Talk Radio

And of course, don't forget that we're on iTunes! You can download our show each week and take us a long with you on your travels and all that fun stuff! Come and get us RIGHT HERE

Good times! But, you know what's better than Stupid? Bonus Stupid, that's what! And this week that's just what everyone is getting. Yup, we're doing a second show this week at Noon EDT on Saturday. That's 11 am Central, 10 am Mountain and 9 am on the West Coast!

On Saturday we're kind of winging it, but we will be talking some baseball since it's opening weekend and all. But, you just never really know where the conversation will go. So, again, if you're around at Noon Eastern on Saturday, drop in and give us a listen. Or, better yet, call the show and chat with us at 661.244.9852.

I'm sure Avril Lavigne will be there..

The Art of Making Sandwiches and Bonus Stupid...

You know, there's nothing quite as satisfying as a really good sandwich. I mean, even if it's just a simple peanut butter on toast sandwich. Or, maybe you like to make really elaborate sandwiches with lots of different ingredients. Those are great, but then you have to clean up a pretty big mess afterwords.

Especially if you have to cut up your lettuce and onions and green peppers and then use both mayo and mustard. You DO use separate knives for the mayo and mustard DON'T YOU??? Please don't tell me your one of those dirty people who gets mayo in his jar of mustard? THAT'S NASTY!

Anyway, the sandwich bread, ingredients, condiments, side dishes and drink combos are almost endless. And, sometimes people get lost trying to think about all of 'em. That's where Matt-Man and I come in with this week's “I'm With Stupid.”

We're gonna talk sandwiches and all that good stuff this week. Matt and I will help you try to make sense of it all and maybe give you some new ideas to add to your sandwich repertoire. We're helpful like that. And, we'll discuss the the pros and cons of different kinds of breads and meats and hot vs cold too. We're very thorough about these things, ya know.

So tune in to “I'm With Stupid” at 11 pm EDT on Thursday night or listen in the archives. And, don't forget to call in with your own creations!

Bu wait, that's not all! This week Matt-Man and I have decided to do something extra special for y'all.

BONUS STUPID!!!!

That's right kids! There will be TWO episodes of “I'm With Stupid” this week. In addition to our usual Thursday night show, Matt-Man and I will be taking to the internet airwaves on Saturday at HIGH NOON EDT!!

How freaking cool is that? Don't worry kids, we're professionals and can handle this.

On Saturday's show Matt-Man and I will basically just be winging it. Although we will talk a little baseball since it's opening weekend. But, you never really know what direction we'll head once we get started. So, be sure to tune in for that one too!

Sexy Make Happy Time ....

Last night's “I'm With Stupid” was all about hot, nasty sex. Okay, so Matt-Man and I didn't get too detailed or graphic because we're always thoughtful of the more sensitive types. It would probably still be a good idea for my mother not to listen after the first five minutes or so.

Anyway, we talked sex in public. Places like a concrete sidewalk, in the bushes, in a tree, the dressing room at Dillards, backseats of cars, in trees, private booths at strip clubs, you know, all the usual places.

We were also entertained by the uber-lovely and always exciting Desert Rat!

Oh, and a troll.

And folks in the chat room shared some of their sexcapades with us too.

It was another 45 minutes of (mostly) non-stop fun and games. So, if you get a chance check it out RIGHT HERE, or by using the handy-dandy player provided by our friends at Blog Talk Radio...
Listen to internet radio with Im With Stupid on Blog Talk Radio

And don't forget kids. Think before attempting any of the things that Matt-Man I discuss on the show. We're professionals. Heck, we practically wrote the book on this stuff:

Let's Talk About Sex Baby ...

Let's talk about you and me

Uh, well me and SOME of you. Okay, most of you.

Or actually, let's talk about all the cool places we've gotten freaky.

Oh now, don't try to deny that you haven't engaged in a little public action. In the car? On a beach? On a boat out in the lake? In the woods? Maybe left the blinds open in the bedroom?

Oh sure, it's always illegal, but we do it anyway. In fact, it's BECAUSE it's illegal that we like to do it.

And, Americans love to pretend that we NEVER engage in such salacious behavior and whenever we find out that one of us did we are shocked and appalled!

Well, Matt-Man, I and the rest of the staff at “I'm With Stupid” don't have such puritan views towards sex. We think sex is awesome and we're not afraid to admit it. In fact, we think it's so great that we're doing a Sextravaganza this week at 11 pm EDT on Blog Talk Radio.

We're gonna talk about how great sex is. Especially how great public sex is. And we encourage you to set your inhibitions aside and call in and tell us all about your sexcapades too. We've got a special remote from Dick Burns from The Bunny Ranch in Nevada and Guy Ahnyurdyck has teamed up with Kim Fragile to do a very special live remote from outside of Liz Taylor's house. It's very touching.

So, don't forget, 11 pm EDT Thursday night RIGHT HERE. And as always, we'll do it live.

In other news “Every Day Jay” and “I'm With Stupid” would like to welcome Coach Mike Anderson home! Mike has agreed to become the new head coach at the University of Arkansas. As I said on my Tumblr yesterday, this isn't anything personal Missouri. This is just about bringing someone home who should never have been allowed to leave in the first place.

Naked Celebrities Are Just Like Us When They Get Naked...

So once again a celebrity has had naked pictures “leaked” onto the internet. This time it is Vanessa Hudgens, and Renee Olstead. This is, of course, the second time around for Ms. Hudgens. I'm sure they feel violated and all, but you know, we've all seen naked women before. Hell, I'm pretty sure that through Blogs, Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr I'm going to see about 90% of the women in the world in either their undies, a bikini or naked. At least I hope so anyway.

But, my point is, I know I'm not the only person who has seen enough naked women in his lifetime that I can pretty much just look at a picture of a woman and easily visualize what she looks like naked and probably be pretty darn close. The only real question is how much landscaping she does down there. And, to be honest with you, I'm pretty good at visualizing that too. But, more than that, why is someone being naked such a scandal? I know some people are more modest than others. I know people who have been married for years and have never seen each other naked. If that works for them, then great. But, being naked isn't a sin and it isn't abnormal so there's no reason to go bonkers over it.

So, I just don't understand how when pictures of celebrities like Vanessa Hudgens, or Renee Olstead show up on the internet everyone feels the need to rush and click the links and …. OH MY GOD THEY'RE BOTH MAGNICENT!!!!!

Uh, I mean, they look pretty much the way we would expect them to look. And, the real story should be about their invasion of privacy and not the pictures themselves. Just because they're Hollywood attention whores C-list celebrities doesn't mean that they deserve to have things like this happen. And, it's totally unfair to point out that the pics of Ms. Hudgens have appeared just before the release of her new movie, Sucker Punch. I'm sure there is no connection whatsoever. Purely a coincidence, and I can't believe you people would be so cynical as to think otherwise.

Oh yeah. Ms. Hudgens...

Ms. Olstead....

I posted those pics simply as a public service to my readers who might be wondering who these two chicks are, and am again appalled that you would insinuate that I had any ulterior motives such as padding my hits and page views. A totally unfair accusation and it hurts my feelings that you even thought it, let alone said it out loud.

But, I forgive you.

In other news last night Matt-Man and I put together what critics are calling the BEST St. Patrick's Day Extravaganza in the history of internet radio on “I'm With Stupid.” We talked lent, the NCAA's and how my bracket is already blown to smitherines thanks to that sorry, no good, worthless, I hope his next mistress gives him every STD known to man piece of crap Rick Pitino and his Louisville team losing to Morehead St.

Yeah, a coach who can't keep it in his pants and has a problem being faithful to his wife lost to a school named “MORE HEAD.” That IS kind of funny. I agree. Too bad it ruined my bracket though!

Where was I? Oh yeah. We also discussed little known facts about Ireland. Things like how Irish are known to suffer from early onset dementia more than other people. But, in their case it's different because they only remember the grudges. Bada Bing!

Well, anyway, it was a great time and we were again joined by Dianne as we took some time to trash NYC's Irish-Jewish Mayor Micheal O'Bloomberg and his Nanny State.

As usual, a good time was had by all and you can too using this here handy player or, if you're only reading this in Reader, by using the player at the bottom of the post. We thank you for your support.

I'm Funnier and More Offensive Than Gilbert Gottfried...

From Gilbert Gottfried's Twitter (via BuzzFeed):

“Japan is really advanced. They don't go to the beach. The beach comes to them.

“I just split up with my girlfriend, but like the Japanese say, “They'll be another one floating by any minute now.”

“My Japanese doctor advised me to stay healthy. I need 50 million gallons of water a day.”

“I was talking to my Japanese real estate agent. I said “is there a school in this area.” She said “not not, but just wait.”

“What does every Japanese person have in their apartment? Flood lights.”

Eh, that's enough. If you want to read all of 'em you can click the link. Of course, Gilbert got fired for as the AFLAC Duck for these tweets. Now, I'm not going to make the argument that he shouldn't have been fired. I take the same position with Gottfried as I did with Don Imus and Dr. Laura. The companies that these people work for have the right to decide that they don't want to be represented by them anymore. They can hire and fire whomever they want.

What amazes me though is how quickly the Fake Outrage Machine gets cranked up anytime someone says something “insensitive.” And, it isn't enough to for people to just say “well, I'm not going to support that person anymore after that.” That's your own prerogative. No, what most people want to destroy the person who has been insensitive and make sure they no longer have their jobs the ability to make a living in their field.

Remember the Dixie Chicks? How can we not. I mean saying that they're embarrassed that George Bush is from Texas? What a truly horrible and outrageous thing to say. And, as result, their music wasn't played on country music stations for a long time.

Anyway, full disclosure here, I had a much funnier joke that Gilbert. Wanna hear it? Okay..

My Japanese girlfriend broke up with me. It's okay though, as they say, they're plenty more in the sea.”

Okay, so you're all gonna tell me that that wasn't funny at all. It was offensive. Some of you will even be OMG OUTRAGED!!!! Should Blogger shut down my blog for that joke? Will I lose all my readers and be shunned by my fellow bloggers over it?

Or, is it okay that I only shared that joke with a handful of people and it was done so privately? Is that the real rule here? The jokes are funny if we're sitting around drinking a beer and not in a public setting? Because if you're gonna tell me that you've never told an inappropriate or “too soon?” joke, then I'm gonna, well, be skeptical.

Like I said, I don't care that they fired Gottfried. ALFAC decided they didn't want him representing their company. Fair enough. But, just about everyone I know who has condemned Gilbert for his tweets have themselves shared “politically incorrect” jokes, or defended someone who made racial, or other “unacceptable” jokes. And I don't know any of them who have lost their jobs over it.

Well, it's Thursday and it's St. Patrick's Day kids. You know what that means? Yup, it's time for another episode of “I'm With Stupid!” And this week Matt-Man and I are celebrating everything Irish. Things like potatoes, Guinness, Jameson Whiskey, Car Bombs. Stuff like that. Also, I sat down and did a very special interview with my great, great, great, great grandmother Mary Loy who grew up north of Dublin, Ireland.

All that and more, including your phone calls this week on “I'm With Stupid!” Join us, won't you?

The Big Four-Three ...

So it's official, or about to be official depending on when you read this, I'm another year older. Yup, I've hit the big, meaningful and always formidable age of 43. The big FOUR-THREE baby. The age I've been dreading. Some people worry about nice round numbers like 30 or 40 or 50. Not me. 43 has always been the one I feared. But, it's here now, so I guess I'll just have to deal with it.

I can't wait to see what kinds of shitty changes this age brings. Over the last few years things have been going downhill. I can no longer handle spicy foods. I have to get up in the middle of the night to pee more often than I used to. And, I've found that my “system” has become increasingly sensitive to greasy (and by “greasy” I mean “good”) foods. Oh and the hemorrhoids. TMI?

So, naturally I'm assuming that 43 is actually the magical age where things really begin to accelerate and my total physical and mental collapse will begin in earnest this year. I can't wait.

I don't have anything much planned. Just hang out, drink heavily and cry over my lost youth and rapidly dimming hopes for the future. You know, the usual.

If you wanted to get me something for my birthday, you could always listen to the awesome surprise birthday party Matt-Man threw for me on “I'm With Stupid” and get all your friends to do so too...
Listen to internet radio with Im With Stupid on Blog Talk Radio

Oh, you GOTTA listen to the beautiful and talented Desert Rat singing “Happy Birthday” to me on the show...

How HAWT was that?

Oh, and check out my birthday present from Kim Fragile...

How freakin' sweet is that?

And, I again want to thank Saturday Night Live for giving me Miley Cyrus hosting as my birthday present. She did a great job.

Oh, and thanks to Esquire for giving me Stacy Keibler for my b-day. That's nice!

Speaking of Blog Talk Radio. You know what those petty, meanies have done now? They've blocked Google and Skype on host lines for free shows. WTF? I emailed them asking about this and, as I expected, they didn't respond. I understand restricting time and space for non-premium hosts because they do need to make money, after all. But, blocking us from using Google or Skype to host our shows seems really shitty.

But, the social media world taketh away and giveth too. I've switched to using TweetDeck for all my Twitter needs and, after accidentally Direct Messaging three people, including myself, things are going pretty good there. I especially love the ability to filter out lots of hash tags, keywords and even certain people on certain days of the week who annoy me with their moronic tweets.

And of course over on Facebook I'll get lots and lots of happy birthday wishes today. Unfortunately a lot of those wishes will come from people I didn't even realize were on my friend's list. I suck at Facebook. I keep trying, but can't seem to get any better at it. But, with the new laptop I no longer have compatibility issues, so maybe I'll be a better Facebooker from now on.

Well, I don't want this post to get too long, so on this birthday I want to thank all of you guys for you general awesomeness and your interesting, funny, thoughtful and clever blogs, tweets, tumbles, status updates and comments. This whole “going downhill rapidly” thing wouldn't be nearly as fun without you!

A Big Surprise and Miley Cyrus for my Birthday...

So, what started out as a show about Charlie Sheen and Hollywood Train Wrecks turned into something completely different. Sneaky old bastard Matt-Man had planned a surprise on air birthday party (my birthday is the 7th) for me without me even so much as having a clue. Okay, so I don't have a clue most of the time, but I totally didn't know about this one.

Matt-Man got our intern, Little Jimmy Stewart, The Weirdo King, Dana, Catcherdude's Mom and Mike to all call in! Plus, he arranged for the oh so lovely and talented Desert Rat to call and sing “Happy Birthday” to me!

Isn't she lovely?

Hell, Matt even got MY MOTHER to call in!

It's a testament to my professionalism and talent as a talk radio host that I was able to keep my composure and continue to co-host the show. And, my strange, reserved personality that often times puts people off and creeps 'em out. Although, I did kind of miss the chat room. I've working on paying better attention there, but didn't do so well this week.

Anyway, it was a great time and thanks to Matt-Man for such a sweet surprise. And to everyone who called and made my day a little brighter. And, of course to Agent Rat for singing. I'll be posting a snippet of her singing here on Monday.

Oh, and I also need to send a great big thank you to Saturday Night Live for their birthday gift to me too. Miley Cyrus is hosting this week's show! AND, she was on Jimmy Fallon last night. This is gearing up to be the BEST. BIRTHDAY. EVER!!!

So, if you like, you can listen to the Charlie Sheen and Hollywood Train Wrecks show that turned into a Surprise Birthday Party Show here. A great time was had by all!
