Football Saturday Week 3...

So I went 5-2 last week on my college picks.  Oh okay, I'll give you the Michigan push and call it 4-2-1.  But, it should be pointed out that I read the wrong line on my super secret college odds site that I use and should have gotten either 3 or 3.5 on that game.  Whatever. Maybe I need to admit that I'm not young anymore and enlarge the freaking text? 

Anyway, that makes me 8-4-1 on the season.  I could pay the bills doing this.  Or blow it all at the strip club. It could go either way really.  Okay, you're right. I would blow my winnings at the strip club.  You guys know me so well.

What the hell, let's just get to the games, shall we?

As usual, my pick in bold...

Arkansas +2 @ Georgia ... Georgia might suck.  It's kind of hard to tell.  The main reason I think they're pretty average is because they're ALWAYS pretty average.  But, no criticizing their coach St. Mark Richt allowed!  Anyway, I think we find out this weekend just what I'm fearing.  That the Arkansas defense is ever worse than people think it is.

Vandy +12 @ Ole Miss ... One of the basics in my fantasy football strategy has been to pick up pitchers who are stating against the Pittsburgh Pirates.  Especially if the Pirates are on the road.  I'm thinking that picking against Vandy, especially when they're on the road, might be the building blocks of my football betting strategy too.

East Carolina +20 @ Va Tech ... I know that Va Tech has something to prove after how terrible they've been the first two week.  But, after ECU showed us that they can score tons and tons of points in the first two games, they might have something to prove as twenty point underdogs too.

Tulsa +6.5 @ Oklahoma St ... I don't really know of Okie St. is any good or not.  I've heard Stillwater is a fun place to party though.

Texas -3 @ Texas Tech ... Another part of my clever plan this season is to wait and see which team ESPN's guys are desperately trying to convince us will be better or more competitive than we think.  I know that team will stink.

Mississippi St +7.5 @ LSU ... Yeah, I'm going with LSU again.  What the hell.


Okay, that's enough college games.  Last week I really stunk up the NFL picks. I went 1-4.  But, I always do.  Cause the NFL is kinda boring. But, Imma try it again this week...

New Orleans -5 @ San Francisco ... WHO DAT???


Houston -3 @ Washington ... I'm on the Texans bandwagon.  Way on it.

Chicago +7.5 @ Dallas ... *shrugs shoulders*

Philly -6 @ Detroit ... I picked up Mike Vick on my fantasy team.  I think I've talked myself into starting him even.  I know he's a scumbag, but this is fantasy football.  Character doesn't matter.
