So, this last Sunday, Buffalo Bills receiver Stevie Johnson dropped what would have been a game-winning catch in the end zone in overtime against the Steelers. After the game, Johnson got on Twitter and placed the blame for that drop where it belongs...
That's right. He blamed God. For his dropping a pass. But not for this haircut??
Now, I have to admit that at first I was really ripping this dude. I was all prepared to let him have it. You know, all the obvious stuff like “God gave you all this great talent and speed and the opportunity to play in the NFL and you blame HIM for dropping that pass? You know, at some point God does expect you to do your part too dude.”
But, after I thought about it for a while, I kind of changed my mind. I'm actually glad Stevie did this. We see athletes giving full credit to God all the time. After catching touchdown passes or hitting home runs or whatever, players point to the sky or make the “X” symbol or whatever. After the games they not only thank God, but arrogantly claim that God wanted their team to win and shit like that.
It's only fair that when something bad happens that they blame God too. Surely, God isn't above accepting the blame for a dropped pass? I mean, if he's gonna sit back and take full credit for everything good that happens, he should accept responsibility for bad things too. He can't be like Houston Nutt and when he wins run in front of the cameras and pat himself on the back and then when he loses, fire assistants and blame the players.
So, I say Good For You Stevie! It's about damn time someone stood up to God and made him take responsibility too.
And no, I'm not just writing this because of the grudge I still hold against God for taking out a restraining order against me. I just honestly believe that he's been let off the hook too many times when things are clearly his fault. Kinda like Brett Favre.

In other Twitter news. Sarah Palin was Tweeting about her reality show when I decided to point out to her why I don't ReTweet her pimping her show...
I guess I told her, huh? She thinks we should all be helping to promote her show, but promoting my show, “I'm With Stupid” is beneath her? I don't think so sweetheart.

And finally, I was taking a picture of my hot chocolate mix using the flash and check this out. The handle (I guess) made a little heart shaped shadow on the mix in the mug. Isn't that cute!!
