Bottoms Up and Wrapping Presents...

So, right after the election I read in the local paper that someone had put up a “sign” sound of town that was advertising a new strip club called “Bottoms Up” that would open if the county decided to “go wet” and allow liquor sales. Well, I had assumed from the article that the sign was a homemade sign and it was probably already gone. Boy was I wrong! Turns out the “sign” is a billboard and it's full of awesome …

Just look at it! It's glorious! First, it's pink. All signs for strip clubs should be pink. Second, they made the word “Bottoms” possessive by putting an apostrophe in it. Third, they misspelled “Gentlemen.”

You just can't get any more awesome than that. Every time I see a sign or billboard around here that has misspelled words, I wonder why the company that makes the signs for people doesn't correct their customer's grammar and spelling.

A few years ago we had a guy running for city council who had big signs around town asking people to vote for him for “Harrison City Goverment.” And yes, he won anyway.

As you probably know, last week on “I'm With Stupid” we held a Radiothon for Ryno. If you missed it then shame on you then you might not know the star power that turned out for the cause. Even the greatest super model of all time, Cindy Crawford was here. And, I caught up with her at the airport when she got to town and talked to her for about 30 second about what motivated her to come and be apart of the radiothon...

Also, I discovered today that I can wrap presents while listening to my Rat Pack Christmas CD and still not have any holly jolly Christmas spirit at all.

And yes, the tree is on the floor. That's because every single year I put the tree up before I wrap the presents. And since the tree goes on the same table that I need to wrap the presents on, the tree has to get moved to the floor while I'm wrapping.
