Guess what kids? I have a new blog! Well, it's side blog actually. I'll still be blogging here, but I decided to start up a Tumblr blog. Why? Uh, well ... Cause I just decided I needed another blog, that's why. Oh, and the name and a link to this new blog, you ask? Sure ...
Every Day Jay
Clever huh?
Basically I decided to do that one so that I could have a place to blog about stuff I find on the net and want to just throw up there and comment on. I might rant about a story I just read, or post an awesome pic that I happened upon or maybe a cool video. I'm keeping this blog for my own original content. I don't like to post other people's videos or photos or whatever here. I like for it to be my shit. Unless it's a pic of a hot babe or cheerleader or whatever.
Anyway, as I was saying, this new blog is on Tumblr. This is the blogging tool all the cool kids are using now. They say it's super cool and easy, and I guess it is. It's very different though. It's definitely going to take some getting used to. Things work differently over there. The Dashboard is very different and I actually had some problems with it. For some reason it won't let me post photos from Flickr. But, it will let me post pics from Photobucket. What's up with that?
But, the more I use it, the more I think I understand it. And, there are some pretty cool features. As in all links I post there will open in a new page. Why Blogger doesn't offer that option when posting using the "compose" tab I have no idea. Also, it's easier to re-size photos before posting there. And, you can "like" blog posts and even "reblog" over there. Reblogging works a lot like Retweeting on Twitter does. You click the "reblog" button and the picture or video or text will show up on your blog while telling everyone who you reblogged it from. That seems kinda cool.
So, basically I will probably be cross-posting the stuff I do here over there. But, I will NOT be cross-posting stuff I put up there over here. Mainly because a lot of the stuff over there will be NSFW. Yeah, that's right bitches, some of the pics I post over there will be of nekkid people. GASP!!
No, I won't be posting porn. But, as crazy as this might sound, I do have a "No Nudity" policy on this blog. With the one exception of when I posted a pic of Mary Louise Parker's glorious ass, I haven't posted any pics of actually naked people here. But, it's entirely possible that I will over there. So, you've been warned. If you put that blog in your reader or click on it while at work or while your kids are sitting next to you and see a pic of a naked chick then it's on you.
Also, commenting will be available over there, but don't fee any obligation. Not that you should anyway. I just decided that since many people are using Disqus anyway, I might as well set up a Disqus account. And since I had done that, I might as well use Disqus for comments over there.
So, there ya go. I have a "side" blog over on Tumblr.
