I'm Now an Honorary Lesbian ...
Okay, as I told you in my last post I won a drawing over at Real Live Lesbian's blog and that meant that I got a box of cool stuff that she brought back from China! And, since this also means that I'm now a lesbian too. That is the way it works right? After lesbians or gay men "recruit" someone to "their" side, you get a door prize, right? Just like when you open a new account at a bank or something.
At least that's what I've always heard. I think it was on Fox News.
Yeah, I know, since I'm a guy, I can't really be a lesbian. I can't even be a lesbian trapped inside of a woman's body. That joke is as old as Larry King. Well, nothing is as old as Larry King, but the next oldest thing to Larry King is that joke. So, that means I'm just an honorary lesbian. Just like Gina Gershon and Jennifer Tilly. Also, Sarah Shahi. I'm not sure if the rest of the women on "The L-Word" were actual lesbians or not.
Anyhoodle, here's what I got from Real Live Lesbian...

I loved the newspaper. Everywhere I ever go I love to get the local newspapers. I especially love underground or free weeklies. They are always full of all kinds of interesting stuff.
That little green thing there is a pig. And it's some kind of toy where you smash it down on the table or hard surface and it looks like some green goo. Then, it goes back to it's original form...

Kinda weird, but cool too.
As for the eats, they are ... uh ... different. The peanuts are pretty normal. The candied melons don't have too much taste to them at all. The raisins are large and full of these teeny tiny seeds that crunch. Otherwise it tastes just like raisins. The cherry tomatoes are nasty. LOL
So, thanks to Real Live Lesbian for the cool stuff and thanks for inducting me into the club and making me an honorary lesbian!!

One other thing!
Bloggerhood, Lucy. Lucy, the bloggerhood.
Kell and Al have added to their family. Lucy is Cosette's sister and they are now reunited. Lucy is quite a handful, but she and Cosette are getting to know each other pretty well already...

But, Cosette still loves her Uncle Jay...

Okay, back to my hiatus.

Check Out My Package ...
Hey kids. Well, I took another nice four day vacation from the bloggerhood. But, I did get my prize package from Tink this weekend.
You may recall that I won a dramatic, some might say "Michael Phelps-Esque" type victory in Tink's PB Contest a couple of weeks back. Well, my winnings came via the UPS dude Friday evening. I decided to vlog my opening of the box and we would all get to see what was in it at the same time.
Ufortunately that vlog sucked ass. It was terrible. All kinds of technical problems.
So, I tried another one. Again, I screwed it up. So finally I did a third one and decided to just live with this one. I wonder if Spielberg ever had these problems? Oh well, here's the vlog ...
Again, thanks for Tink for hosting the contest and all the great stuff!! You ROCK!

The Contest Ninja
It's not my style to brag but ....
Once again I have put my amazing Ninja-like mind skills on display for all to see. For the second year in a row, I fired up my ultra-competitive spirit along with lighting fast mental reflexes and WON the second round of Tink's 3rd Annual PB Contest last Friday. The contest being the big closing party of her 3rd Annual Summer Extravaganza.
I tell ya folks, I should have video taped myself winning that contest. It was something to see. I think that video probably would have become the standard for how to compete in blog contests. That video would be broken down and analyzed by people all over the world. Teachers would use it to inspire school kids and it would be used in seminars to teach business leaders how to use their analytical skills. They would probably be featuring me in the "Society" section of major newspapers and somebody would make an hour long special about me to be broadcast on CNBC or The Learning Channel. Maybe Discover Channel too, if they could squeeze it in with all the shows about animals killing and screwing.
But since there is no video the story of my legendary victory will have to be passed down the old fashioned way from generation to generation. Mothers and fathers will have to gather their children aroundan all-meat pizza, a case of Lone Star Beer and a bottle of Cabo Wabo Tequila the fireplace and tell them the inspiring story of my victory.

I do want to give a shout out to one of my competitors though. Fiwa fought hard and is certainly an impressive advisary worthy of my respect. Especially since I beat her in round two. But, I will be honest with you. Had I gotten the word verification wrong, Fiwa would have won that round. When I hit "publish comment" and the comment box reloaded my answers to the questions and Fiwa's popped up at the same time. Luckily mine were in front of hers so I won. I think that just adds more luster to my victory. It was so intese and close! But, congrats to Fiwa for coming back later and winning her own victory in the Surprise Round. That was a very impressive win. Well, as impressive as any win can be when I'm excluded from competing because of the fact that I had already won a round. haha ;-)~
Don't forget that tomorrow is the WWC. The words are High and Low. That is also hosted by Tink. You know, it's starting to become rather obvious to me that the blogosphere is pretty much Tink's world and the rest of us are just paying rent. That's okay though. She's cool.
