Epic Hotness ...

Well last night's show was down right EPIC! In addition to a live remote from Schmoop's uterus and an interview with President Obama, we had a great crowd of hotties in the chat room and the phone lines blew up with babes from all over the country. We'll have to do that again soon!

Thanks to Mimi, Blondie, Megalicious and Dana for calling in. Hell, that's a line up of uber-hot babes right there! And if you would like to listen to the show, you can do so right here:

Okay, The Other Side Of The John Mayer Racist Cock Thing ...

First of all check it out!  I won Doc’s Tweet of the Week
Photobucket

And how did I win this, you ask?  Well, during the Super Bowl there was an ad for the new Harry Potter Experience at Disney.  Right after that ad ran I tweeted:

“Unfortunately there isn’t a Hermione ride at the new Harry Potter theme park.”

Yeah, I’m witty.

I was surprised that I won, since Doc normally only gives that award to hot chicks.  But, apparently if you tweet ABOUT hot chicks, you have a chance at winning.   Or at least a chick that a lot of other people think is hot.  Emma is very talented and quite attractive and I’m sure she’s a nice person.  But, I don’t know that I would put her in the “hot” category.

Okay, so back to this John Mayer business.  I had some fun at his expense here Wednesday, but let me be clear*, I do NOT think John Mayer is a racist.  I think he’s got limited social skills and he thought he was being really cool and edgy and the interview got a way from him.

So, John Mayer doesn’t date black women.  Is this really a problem? Forget the words he used, just focus on what he was trying to say.  Robert DeNiro only dates black women.  Is he a reverse racist?  Of course not.

Just because a person has a preference, doesn’t make them a racist or bad in any other way.

Some men are attracted to blondes, some love redheads or brunettes.  Some men have a thing for Latinas.  Or Asians.  Or any other ethic group of women.  Just like some men prefer short or tall, skinny or not so skinny women.

Same thing for women.  They have their preferences.  White, black, Asian, Latin, tall, short, skinny, not so skinny whatever.

Although, when it comes to women it’s commonly referred to as “preference,” while for men it’s generally considered a “fetish.”  We do that because “fetish” has a negative connotation to it and if a man has a “thing” for say, Asian women, then it is probably driven by something perverted.

Now granted, sometimes it IS a fetish.  I know a lot of Asian women are leery of white men because they can sometimes be kinda creepy in their pursuit of Asian women.  Totally understandable.  But, just because a guy has a thing for Asian women, it doesn’t mean it’s a fetish. It could also just be a natural attraction to Asian features and attitudes.  We’ll pretend that women NEVER have these types of fetishes.

And, sometimes people just want to see what it’s like to have sex with someone of a different race.  We’ll pretend that women never do this either.

I know that in some places interracial dating is still a big deal.  And, all the guilty white liberals out there are outraged when they hear someone mention that they’ve never dated outside of their race.  But, the fact of the matter is, most people haven’t.  Are most people in favor of it? Probably, but that doesn’t mean they have.  In fact, most of the people “outraged” by Mayer’s words haven’t dated outside their race either.

The fact is you like who you like.

Granted, we all claim to have a certain preference, and then often times end up with someone who is “totally not my type.”  But, for the most part we are attracted to certain traits, both physical and emotional and that’s that.  The color skin that those traits are wrapped in doesn’t really matter to most of us.  And I guess in some cases those traits that we are attracted to only come wrapped in one color skin.  It doesn’t mean we’re racists though.

Do I find it kind of crazy that John Mayer is in a position that he can nail any hot chick on Earth, including Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jennifer Anniston and Jessica Simpson and he’s never taken a run at Megan Goode or Regina King or Zhang Ziyi or Freda Pinto or Padma Lakshmi or Penelope Cruz or any of the Kardashians?  Well, yes.  But, only because that’s what I would be doing if I was in his position.  Doesn’t mean he’s wrong.  Maybe he just lacks imagination.

Anyway, my point is it’s time that people stopped freaking out over race when it really doesn’t matter.  Somebody famous, who is also famous for getting with lots of super hot chicks doesn’t have sex with black women.  It’s not odd, or bad or racist or really anything significant at all.  Well, it isn’t unless he calls his wee-wee a white supremacist.  Then things get a little weird.

*Oh God!  Now Obama has me using that phrase.  Seriously people, every time you hear Obama speak, drink each time he says “let me be clear.”

Knight's Meme ...

My good friend Knight has unwittingly created a meme! I think that she’s kind of mortified that her idea for a post turned into a meme though. And that’s why I decided to do it and even expand on it a bit. And I’ve decided to give a name .... “Knight’s Meme.” Yeah, that’s a hot name.

Actually Dianne was the first one to do Knight’s Meme on Monday. Then Reb did it yesterday. I’m just following along like the copy-cat that I am. And because I’m hoping to help spread Knight’s Meme all over the blogosphere. So everyone feel free to do this one. I think it would make Knight happy to know that she created a popular meme.

Basically she looked back through all the labels she has used on her blog to see which ones she uses the most and see if they really are representative of her blog.

So, here we go...

I don’t know how many labels I have used. I was looking for something that would tell me without me having to count them all. I’m pretty sure it’s over 700 or so though. And like most people the vast majority of those have just been used once. But, here are the most frequently used:

1. WWC .... 74 times. This makes sense because the Weekly Words Challenge has been going on for quite some time now. First started by Odd Mix and now Tink is in charge.

2. Vlog .... 19 times. This will continue to grow too as vlogging is actually easier than sitting down and trying to think of something to write about.

3. Wordzzle ... 18 times. Fun times on a Saturday!

4. Photos ... 14 times. You would think that I would use the Photos label on my WWC entries wouldn’t you? Well not me!

5. NFL ... 14 times. While admit that it is possible that the NFL secretly sucks, I do love Fantasy Football, so NFL label will grow also.

6. Randomness ... 13 times. Gotta just be random sometimes.

7. Movies .... 9 times. Everybody loves movies.

8. All about me ... 9 times. Cause it is a blog, after all.

9. Shout outs ... 8 times. Gotta pimp my friends.

10. Babes .... 8 times. You probably thought this would be #1 didn’t you?

I don’t know if those labels are really indicative of this blog or not. I’m actually not that good at using labels cause I forget about them sometimes and others I just throw stuff in there. But those are the 10 most popular labels on this blog.

Here are some labels that you might be surprised they weren’t used more:

1. Strippers are people too .... 4 times
2. Hookers are people too .... 4 times
3. Big dicks ... 2 times
4. Little dicks ... 2 times
5. Man Crushes .... 2 times
6. Anal sex ..... 2 times
7. Escorts ... 2 times
8. Banana hammocks ... 1 time
9. Balls ... 1 time
10. Boob Juice .... 1 time

Celebrity labels used more than 3 times ...

1. Giada de Laurentiis .... 7 times
2. Rachael Ray ..... 6 times
3. Kobe Tai .... 6 times (Have I ever mentioned that I went to college with Porn Star Kobe Tai?)
4. Natalie Portman .... 5 times
5. Britney Spears ...... 5 times
6. Lauren Graham ... 4 times (Lorelia Gilmore 2 times and Gilmore Girls 4 times also)
7. Lauren Conrad ... 4 times (The Hills 4 times also)
8. Hayden Panettiere ... 4 times
9. Scarlett Johansson .... 3 times
10. Anthony Bourdain ... 3 times
11. George Clooney .... 3 times
12. Paris Hilton .... 3 times
13. Melissa Theuriau .... 3 times

And other bloggers who have shown up in labels at least twice..

1. Tink (Pickled Beef) ... 7 times
2. Carmen (Poker Girl in Vegas) .... 2 times
3. Diesel (Antisocial Commentary) .... 2 times

And that’s it. Hmmm ... I should probably be putting blogs in labels more often.

Anyway that’s Knight’s Meme. Everyone go over and tell Knight how cool her Meme is. She did a great job creating it. Just call Knight “The Meme Goddess.” I’m sure she’ll love that title. ;-)

And I think I will lable this blog with some labels that I'm surprised I never got a chance to use.
