Okay, I must make a small confession. Every now and then I have the tendency to have some OCD traits. It definitely has gotten better, but I do notice them here and there. Pieces I own have to be in its own spot. The weird thing is that I'm not as organized as I'd like at home. (Our bedroom is becoming a war zone!) Well, that's something that will slowly come into place.
As I looked through Black Eiffel's blog, she posted some fantastic pictures that led me to a great blog, Things Organized Neatly.
Here's one of my favorite pictures from Things Organized Neatly. Beautiful color & completely organized. This truly made my OCD traits jump out.

Tumblr vs. Blogger
Okay, so here is the list that I came up with while going back and forth between Tumblr and Blogger. Here are the Pro's and Con's I had of Tumblr.
Cons
Here's a great article I linked to earlier about Tumblr that basically confirmed my decision to stick with Blogger.
Anyone else have thoughts or opinions on Tumblr? I'd love to know.
Cons
- No one can post comments on any posts. They do have a "reply" feature that you can enable, but that's only replies from people you follow. Even with this, you can't reply to your own posts or any other replies that you receive. If you do decide to enable this feature, you can't edit or delete any replies that you do receive...meaning you're stuck with any weird replies that may have been posted. This is actually a huge deal to me. I'm currently debating on which is better, and no one can comment back on this post and give me suggestions and/or opinions.
- Their dashboard where you can follow specific people only allows you to follow only Tumblr blogs. At least with Blogger, I was able to follow any type of blog, regardless if it was a Blogger one or not.
- They don't have a stats page. At least one that I could find. I recently found out that Blogger keeps stats of how many times your blog has been seen by people.
- I had a pretty hard time finding a way to search my email contacts for friends blogs on Tumblr.
- You can't import your old blogs from different programs (blogger, wordpress, etc.)
- They allow you to keep your copyrights.
- The Tumblr app on my Droid is super easy and simple to use.
- You can automatically publish to Twitter and Facebook, which I think is a great feature.Tumblr is great for sharing things and connecting it to your Twitter.
- You can backup your blog, which again is a great feature, but Blogger does this as well.
- You can draft a bunch of posts and then create a queue to post them automatically. However, Bloggers similar feature is a lot easier to use and has more options. You can specify a date and time when you want the blogs to post on Blogger.

To Tumbler or Not to Tumblr?
Final decision? Not to Tumblr.
Based on what I use my blogging for, Tumblr is not the right program for me. I am going to transfer my Tumblr blogs back into my original Blogger. Watch out for them soon. =)
I had made my own observations and conclusions, and this guys blog confirmed it. He even saw some things that I noticed and didn't like about Tumblr. (Like how it's so difficult to find your friends Tumblr blogs and follow them.)
Good-bye Tumblr, Hello again Blogger.

New Blog Gnome Part 2
Okay...here's the new Gnome for this blog. I've decided to keep my food blog in Blogger.
So far, tumblr is pretty nice. I'm still trying to figure things out, so please excuse the mess until I full move in. Thanks.

New Blog Home
I love the way Tumblr is set up. I just made an account. Now to set it up and now it's time to give my blog a new home.
I just have a few questions I need to answer:
Should I move my blogger posts or just start fresh? I'm thinking start fresh...
Should I combine my food blog and my regular blog or make 2 separate tumblr blogs? I'm starting to think I should combine them...

Evita Nuh
Okay, this 11 year old girl from Indonesia is great. She's very much into fashion and photography. I am now addicted to her blog. I started reading what she wrote when she first started her blog, and you can tell that her English is improving. Either way, she's doing what she loves, and it's great. Although, I wonder how she gets all her clothes and accessories. Maybe vintage stores, hand-me-downs? Or maybe her family is well off. I probably should read her blog more to find out.

50 People, 1 Question
This project is sort of similar to PostSecret in the sense that it brings a bunch of people together. I love it. It's very interesting to see and hear the different reactions to the same question.

Olivia Bee
This girl is awesome & she's only 15. She takes all self portraits and just uses a tripod. Her pictures are great. Just thought I'd share.
Click on her pics to check her out on flickr.
