STEVE JOBS ANNOUNCES NEW IPAD

Here is the new Ipad 2 and once again it is nothing special. Those who proclaimed the new iPad as the iPad 1.5 rather than the iPad 2.0 had it right. Instead of doing a big event, the company could have simply done a small announcement and slipstreamed the upgrade into its stores and outlets.

There were only two important items added to the device: the HDMI connection and the second camera. The rest was normal and expected performance upgrades that did not need a special event.
Who is really going to use the HDMI or the camera? If you haven't noticed, the front-facing camera on the iPhone is usually used for one conference call to see if it works, then never used again. I suppose some people may use it a lot while away from home, but most people will never use it. It's a gimmick

If you are like me and can't afford an Ipad cause blogging pays no money, you can get this. The NoteSlate ($100). This simple device sports a one-color eInk display in either white, black, green, blue, or red, a smooth, simple design, a battery good for 180 hours of work, and a simple list of inputs including a special pen with eraser, a mini-USB port, an SD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for listening to MP3s.

IPAD DJING

Sobhany, 24, uses a two-iPad DJ setup to explore the next generation of music production. Two iPads, a mixer, and eight apps — cost about $1,400. Traditional equipment will cost you $4,000
Being a DJ I can say I am not too fond of this setup. It doesn't give you the real feel of what djing is about. Plus I think the Ipad sucks.
