Five years ago, on the occasion of Celine Dion’s 500th performance of her ‘A New Day…’ show, a wax statue of Celine (pictured above together with the real Celine) was unveiled to the public at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The Grévin Museum in Paris donated the statue of Celine wearing a navy blue dress and a copy of the splendid blue heart diamond necklace she wore while performing “My Heart Will Go On” at the Oscars.
The statue is still at the Colosseum, and anyone going to Las Vegas to see Celine’s new show can pose with it and have their photo taken. Funds raised from the sales of the photos will be donated to the Celine Dion Foundation which supports various charitable organizations dedicated to disadvantaged families and children.
What a great cause!
