The Love Tour

As you may have noticed by now, I'm a huge Jennifer Lopez fan, and like so many other fans, I desperately want her to go on a world tour in 2011. So, this evening I've been searching on the internet if there are any rumours yet for The Love Tour 2011, and this rather interesting comment is what I found:

A tour has to come. Now the record company don't sign contracts without an  tour obligation. Look at all the promotion that def jam is paying for the album which at he end they deduct from the earnings from sales.  So the  money is on touring, where the record company take a % of the revenue.

So true! Jennifer just signed to a new record company for her album LOVE? There is no way, in this day and age of downloading, Def Jam Records would sign her just for an album. There has to be a tour involved to make it interesting for them. My guess is, LiveNation will announce a tour in a week or two.
