Painting in the park

I was going to the Japanese Friendship Garden yesterday.. but I didnt know it was closed on Mondays. So, I didnt make it. but I also didnt know there was a park RIGHT next to it! so I walked over and painted there instead. I painted some trees that had white flowers all over, I didnt quite capture the flowers, but it can be a nice background for something. I will paint something over it later! :D I also plan to go to more life drawing sessions, and paint the models. I'm hoping for some nude models, I'd be so excited oil painting from life.. all of those curves and shadows that make up a figure. and try to be accurate! I love the challenge. I might get to attend life drawing at my school I went to, the Art Institute, they have nude models. at Scottsdale artist school, which is Monday nights, their model last time was clothed. I have to go in early next time so I can sit up close for a good portrait painting.
Theres always something awesome, about going to a different location to paint for a set amount of hours. Makes me be productive for that time. lol.

At home, I have to try really hard to make myself paint.. I often end up procrastinating or fighting resistance, or paint for short bits. But I do manage to sit and finish stuff when I decide to. sometimes. I hope to paint a lot more soon, like really soon. I want to finish up so many paintings, but that feeling never changes. I have 3 paintings I'm working on right now, they're all there slowly getting all painted up. I cant wait to finish them.

but for now, I have to finish making some stickers, and complete an order..
Then, maybe Ill paint.
