Take That are busy rehearsing for their record-breaking Progress Live 2011 Tour - but at least one member is also looking ahead to after the stadium shows. Howard Donald has booked in huge gigs DJing in Ibiza this summer after getting the call from dance don Judge Jules.
Howard will spin house music at superclub Eden just three weeks after the band's last Progress Live date in Munich. His Judgement Sundays bookings, starting on August 21, put him up there among big-name DJs such as Marco V, Eddie Halliwell, Ferry Corsten and Judge Jules himself. DJ Judge JulesSo far Howard has two nights lined up at Eden's room 2 but is likely to be looking around for other bookings on the White Isle.
A source says: "Howard's been DJing for years now after taking it up when he was in the wilderness after the group's split in 1996. At first he wasn't taken very seriously but now he's well respected. He's focused on the tour right now but is also excited about these DJ dates. To get the call from Judge Jules is a big deal. He'll be playing alongside huge names from house and techno but it will certainly be a different story to live shows with his group."
