I somehow managed to talk them into going to Hard Rock Cafe although their facial expressions looked very wary. So, we walked to the restaurant. But a bunch of bands were playing there last night, and it was very crowded, and a bunch of the tables were missing in order to create a stage for the bands, so the wait for a table was 90 minutes, so we said fuck it. Then I talked them into eating at Indiana, which is this French restaurant chain that's very not French but has mediocre nachos and veggieburgers. I think they were wary but agreed, and the food wasn't bad, or they were nice enough not to complain about its unexciting input. My agent had this crazy idea that I could get the interview edit done before he leaves on Sunday morning, and I said there was absolutely no way, and he said he's afraid I'm going to be all anal and take forever, and I said I would try not to be, and, long story short, I'm going to do as much as I can while he's here. Then we parted ways and I came back here, internetted myself, and went to bed. It was a more interesting day than it sounds, but I'm in this annoying rush right now, sorry. I'm going to show my editor around Paris today, so maybe the results of that will be interesting.
