I Got a Little Twitchy ...

So the other day I was sitting on the toilet, doing my thang, right?  I was sitting there taking a wide stance the way I normally do.  I had my right arm draped over the corner of the sink cabinet and my left arm resting on my left thigh.  So, I was just sitting there pondering life when I happened to look down and noticed my left thumb was twitching.

I just stared at and as it would twitch and then settle down. Then twitch again.  This was totally fascinating.  Then it twitched a lot! It was shaking like crazy then it stopped again. I sat there, staring at my thumb trying to figure what the hell the deal was.  Then it suddenly hit me.

HOLY SHIT I HAVE PARKINSON'S!!!

OMG! I'm so fucked.  The universe is getting major payback for all my Micheal J. Fox jokes.  Like when I saw that Fox was going to do guest spots on "The Good Wife" I told someone "Yeah, he's gonna shake things up a bit on that show."   Or when I saw him on some other show and I referred to him as "Twitch."

And now, I was going to be in the same situation only without all the fame and fortune.  I was devastated.  I mean sure, I knew I could turn this into a disease blog and get lots of new followers and tons of sympathy.  Maybe even a sympathy lay from a few of the hot babes here in the Bloggerhood.  But, overall this was pretty sucky.

Then, I thought of something.  I wondered if it was possible that my arm was situated perfectly on my manly, muscular thigh so that I was putting pressure on my funny bone and it might be causing that.  So, I very cautiously moved my left arm so that it was no longer resting in the same position on my thigh.  Almost immediately my trembling thumb settled down.

I breathed a big sigh of relief at the fact that I could continue to make fun of Micheal J. Fox I apparently didn't have a very scary and debilitating disease.  Then I thought about how this meant I won't be having sex with any of you anytime soon and became just a little sad.  But, all in all, I think it was mostly relief that I felt.  So much so that I was able to finish my business quickly and without further incident.

In other news we had hot air balloon races here this weekend.  I thought they were on Friday night and again Saturday.  But, apparently they were on Friday only.  So, when I went out Saturday to take some pictures there was nobody around.

But, it worked out okay because I happened upon a classic car show down on the square.

Also, if you missed "I'm With Stupid" this week, you can always listen to the show in archives 24/7.  Or download it and listen to it on your iPhone/Droid/Blackberry or other smart phones/mp3 players.  You can either go to the SHOW PAGE or just scroll down and snag it off the previous post.

It was actually a pretty decent show this week. After we worked out the early tech problems, of course.  And thanks to the hot and sexy voiced Dianne for calling in!
