OMFG!

if you're wondering what i am obsessed with lately then you should know...

true blood has taken over my life.

it was last year doing school lunch, that i randomly decided to see what the hype was all about with this new vampire show. so with tommy and jessica, we sat down together next to the computer and watched about half of the season in 10 minutes on hbo.com/trueblood. IT WAS INTENSEEEE! but of course, i kinda forgot about it with you know... yearbook, college, senior year in general.

and then last week it hit me. heyyyyy, i have nothing to do. why not download season one of true blood? and since then my love for it has more than grown, its evolved. i cant stop talking about it. i cant stop thinking about it. i had nightmares that i was a character in it, and then suddenly my dream would end and i would have to wait for the next episode to come out (every night for this whole week)! yes. it has evolved.

and now?

OMFG! the tru blood drink is coming out on september 10th. ahhhhhhhhh! i am so excited. ahhh.... so excited, yes i am so excited. i was thinking of pre-ordering it, since its an alcoholic beverage(?) i believe, and i'm not old enough to buy alcohol. but i dont have a credit card! so we shall see how this turns out. anywhoo, im realllyyyyyyy excited.

if you have not seen true blood, i advise you to atleast watch the minicap versions on hbo.com/trueblood. it is sooooo dramatic and good (minus the porno sex scenes.. unless you like that stuff). but if you check my twitter, every time i finish an episode, you can tell. i need a true blood buddy to rant with.

okay. well on another note. i got a job :) which i hated at first, but now have come to like. my co-workers are nice. its not really that difficult. and i have good hours (minus having to work on weekends). i do feel a little sad though, that once school starts i will no longer have any weekends. on the days that i dont work, i go to school. on the days that i dont go to school, i work. ahhhh. i miss being a kid.

my birthday's coming up. tru blood gift anyone?

a little new and a little old.

i started work on monday! so it's been consuming my life for the past two days :[] at first i thought it was really tedious being a t.a. because when i got home in the evenings, i would be so dead tired. but even though it's still only been two days, today i suddenly have a new perspective on things, and i like working at an elementary school :D the kids are sooo cute, and so much better than me at speaking hmong. sometimes i feel stupid. especially when i had to do flashcards with them yesterday, and i found myself NOT KNOWING HOW TO PRONOUNCE some of the sounds such as "ou_" or "_y" or "_ie_"!! i was getting it mixed up with french pronounciations, ahhmgg. ahhhmg, aaaaaaahhhhhhmg. i feel so stupid. so today, i have to review with my dad on sounds... because really i'm still oblivious as to how they go. i'm in a 2nd grade class by the way. and my dad usually teaches 2nd graders for regular school, so he knows how the deal goes :D (i know, im a lucky kid, what can i say?)


after work yesterday, i was listening to some "back in the days" music with tommy on the phone. bands we used to be OBSESSED with back 6th grade and middle school. i played him some bowling for soup, rooney, keane, and the killers. haha. here are some more music we loved :D
