Naomi Campbell for Interview Magazine

Naomi Campbell appears looking absolutely flawless for the October cover of Interview Magazine. And while she may be a top model - a role model, maybe not, she admits inside the issue.

"Listen, I make many mistakes. Many mistakes. I'm not a perfect human being," she says.

"I have to learn from my mistakes. And a lot of the ones I've made have been public. So I always get nervous when people speak about something that sounds like a role model, because I don't know if I've been a great role model myself."

Campbell plays up her bad-girl persona in the provocative portfolio shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. And while the images may not exactly help change people's perceptions of Campbell, but she could care less.

"I mean, look, I'm controversial," she says matter-of-factly. "If people want to work with me, then they want to work with me. If they don't, they don't." LOVE HER!

Did Elle Lighten Gabourey Sidibe’s Skin??

Gabourey Sidibe is one of four celebrities who cover Elle's October 25th anniversary issue and alot of people are saying that photo editors digitally retouched Sidibe so that her skin looks several shades lighter than it does in other photos. Elle claims no wrongdoing. In a statement the magazine said that “nothing out of the ordinary” had been done to the photograph.

We have four separate covers this month and Gabby's cover was not retouched any more or less than the others.”
“We had 25 cover-worthy subjects in our portfolio and we chose Gabby because of who she is.
“We shot this as a story of exuberant young women changing the world. If you take a look at the portfolio, each of the women were shot in different ways and for different reasons."
Different ways, for different reasons, huh? Question: Why did Elle crop Sidibe from the chest up, while fellow cover girls Megan Fox, Amanda Seyfried, and Lauren Conrad's actual figures appear in their cover shots. The cropping on Sidibe is somewhat unusual for the magazine, which uses pretty similar crops on all its cover girls, not just these three.
