Barely able to walk

Those Take That fans sure aren't the good girls they may look like at first sight! During Take That's 8 Progress Live 2011 shows at the City of Manchester Stadium, police had to kick no less than 65 people out of the stadium, for being to drunk to behave properly.

Some were treated for alcohol poisoning while others suffered broken wrists and sprained ankles following drunken falls.

Police had 22 reports of crime in or near the venue before, during and after the shows. Incidents included five public order offences, three assaults, several thefts - and one sexual assault.

One steward on duty during the sell-out concerts at the City of Manchester stadium said: "I've worked at lots of concerts and some of the drunkenness here was unbelievable. Some women were slumped in their seats barely able to walk. It was way worse than a football game."
