All my Life. But I've straighten my hair twice when I was younger both terrible experiences. First time I went to a fancy salon in the city and I left with a frizzy straight fro, second time my grandma took me to a salon in Spanish Harlem where I got a Perm. During the process I felt my scalp was on fire.. THAT SHIT BURNED THE FUCK OUT OF MY SCALP. Natural is so much easier.. My friends have been trying to get me to straighten my hair, maybe one of these days but No Chemicals please. I felt like a different person when I had my hair straighten. So far for me Natural is the way to go.
