Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are spending Thanksgiving visiting survivors of the Pakistan earthquake. The pair have already attended a briefing in Geneva to help them prepare for their trip to the devastated region, Reuters reports. A spokesman for the UN High Commission for Refugees told Britain's BBC website Angelina is "a terrific goodwill ambassador" who "takes her work for us extremely seriously and that means a lot to her and the staff".

The actress, who has two adopted children, Maddox and Zahara, earlier this year the star begged the international community to help Afghan refugees in Pakistan.

Jolie was also awarded a Cambodian passport after being made a citizen of the Southeast Asian country, where her son Maddox, is from, the Associated Press reports.[from
